After numerous times of AJ hitting his head on the office chandelier we decided to replace it with this sparkly light. I miss the length and size of the chandelier, the room feels so big without it, but for practicality sake we had to have something shorter because of the placement of the desk. The light is $119 and it definitely makes a statement… it would be a great replacement for any ugly flush mount lights.
The office is feeling a little bare to me, we are missing one of our chairs. For a few weeks we had no chairs in here, or in the living room, because we’d brought all of them, plus our farmhouse table and four of our chairs over to a house we were selling for buyers who had moved cross-country. They didn’t want to pay for a staging company and we knew it would sell quicker and for more money with furniture in it. They had multiple offers after the first showings and the house is closing next week for above asking. I guess it paid to bring to have a sort of empty house for a few weeks (we are still working on bringing it all back, it’s taken multiple truck loads, hence the missing office chair!).
Let me just remind you what the room looked like when we moved in… a few changes made it so much more us!
